Welcome to the Naga 2010 chile festival!
There will be fire and hotnesss in august when Naga 2010 chile festival comes to the center of Tampere! Naga 2010 is the first festival in finland dedicated exclusively for chiles. Naga 2010 is a free of charge event which consists of sharing chile knowledge, having fun and of course tasting chiles and delicious hot foods!
Chile eating world championship contest is a big part of Naga 2010. This contest will be a tryout to set a new world record in Naga Morich eating, which is said to be the worlds hottest chile. There is a restaurant, Jack the Rooster, at the festival area, which will be serving hot food from chile kitchens all around the world. For some late night partying there will be a Red Hot Chili Peppers cover band playing at Jack the Rooster.
The heart of Naga 2010 is the Chili Street where you can buy chile based delicacies, sauces and spices. In addition to samples of food Naga 2010 shares recipes, advices for growing chiles, knowledge of chiles health influences, myths, culture, hotness and all kind of hot topics. Naga 2010 hosts large number of chile specialists, international quests, chile enthusiasistics and crazy contestants. Welcome!
